"One of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Our guide, An was incredibly friendly, caring and kind. Riding the scooter through hidden gems was amazing, and we also really enjoyed the boat trip, it was super chill and the water coconut, omg 10/10.
Unfortunately, we hadn’t found their homestay online before coming here, but if we would come back again, we would definitely book Zigzag Homestay, as it also looks wonderful.
In summary, I would absolutely recommend this tour if you enjoy local food, kind people and relaxing places"

Detailed Itinerary
of Mekong Delta tour from Ho Chi Minh
1. Pickup from Ho Chi Minh City
Your driver picks you up from your hotel in District 1 between 7:00–8:00 AM. The drive to Ben Tre takes around 2.5 hours. Rest stops available along the way if needed.
2. Meet your guide in Ben Tre
Your local guide meets you on arrival. No tourist welcome center, no group briefing in a crowd — just your guide, your group, and a scooter or tuk-tuk ready to go.
3. Scooter ride through working coconut villages
Ride narrow village paths that wind through coconut groves and past family homes — cool shade overhead, banana trees and betel palms on either side, irrigation canals running between the plots. Stop to watch locals strip coconut husks by hand, ask questions about how families farm and live off the land. Random stops along the way depending on what's happening that day. No fixed script, no staged performances.
4. Home-cooked lunch and coconut candy
Lunch is served at a local homestay — 4 to 5 dishes, all fresh, all local. Rice, river fish, seasonal vegetables. Before sitting down, taste handmade coconut candy made on-site. After lunch, hammocks are yours. Most guests fall asleep. No one rushes you.
5. Sailboat cruise on quiet Mekong canals
Board a traditional sailboat at Innerzen Riverside. The route goes from the main Mekong river branch into narrow canals shaded by coconut palms. Beanbag chairs on deck. Engine off in the narrowest sections — just water, birds, and palm leaves overhead.
6. Return to Ho Chi Minh City
Your driver picks you up from Ben Tre around 4:00 PM, back in District 1 by ˆ6h30 - 7:00 PM. Rest stops available on request.
